Zaire Province
Overview
The Pedra de Feitiço Project is interpreted to be an extension of the graben structures that trend northwest-southeast from Angola’s Cabinda Province, through the DRC and into Angola’s Zaire Province.
Main Facts
100% interest in one (1) exploration license covering approximately 939km² in the Zaire Province in northern Angola.
Located approximately 45km east of Soyo.
Geological setting of Pedra de Feitiço is interpreted to be directly analogous to the Company’s Cacata Deposit.
Limited exploration work has been undertaken at Pedra de Feitiço (to date).
Rock-chip sampling assay results indicates the presence of phosphate at grades ranging from 0.15% to 401.1% P205.
Historical soil sampling assay results ranged from 0.01 to 14.4% P205.
Overview
Lucunga Phosphate Project consists of one (1) exploration permit and one (1) mining permit covering a total area of approximately 411.5km² in the Zaire Province, in northern Angola.
Main Facts
Majority interest in one (1) exploration licence covering approximately 311.5km² and one (1) mining permit covering an area of approximately 100km².
Contains a non-compliant indicated and inferred resource of 215Mt @ 9,56% P205.
Mineralisation close to surface – amenable to shallow (free-dig) open pit operation.
Alluvial phosphate style deposit, consisting of quartz and phosphatic gravels in a fine matrix of soils or lacustrine muds.
Located approximately 250km north of Luanda, and 120km south of Soyo.
High solubility phosphate rock making it potentially suitable for direct application products and single super phosphate (SSP) in the local and regional markets.
